The CityFutures Lab is for you if:

and the Lab is not for you if:

  • The Lab runs for 10 weeks;
  • The Lab will happen online with login access to digital materials (video, podcasts, task sheets) and private, temporary Lab group;
  • There will be participatory action learning in the Lab presented within 10 modules and everybody is encouraged to apply tools and methods to their specific context;
  • The Lab is for everyone active within the sphere of town and city making - open to all stakeholders;
  • The price is $570 AUD (Incl. GST)
  • You want futures/foresight tools and methods you can use that give clear alternatives in this epoch of urban uncertainty;
  • You want a framework to explore the holistic, multi-dimensional nature of human habitation as socio-ecological systems and accordingly develop better city policy and resilience;
  • You want to apply foresight to the design of cities of tomorrow.

  • You are not prepared to learn by doing. This is a Lab of action learning after all;
  • You're set on 20C planning paradigms and not prepared to examine your worldviews and question their relevance;
  • You're hoping to be handed a one-size-fits-all map to navigate your city's futures.
